Gunmen Abduct Students, Principal During NECO Exam in Kogi

Lokoja – Armed attackers struck Government Secondary School in Odo-Ekina, Dekina Local Government Area on Tuesday, abducting four students, the school principal, and a National Examinations Council (NECO) ad hoc staff member during examinations.

The 5:25 p.m. attack prompted immediate response from police and security agencies. Police spokesperson ASP Saliu Oyiza Afusat confirmed one student has been rescued, with search operations continuing for remaining victims.

Commissioner of Police Naziru Bello Kankarofi, alongside the Brigade Commander and State Security Adviser, are conducting an on-site assessment of the incident.
