50 Killed in Plateau State Attacks, Youth Groups Demand Justice

Jos – Indigenous youth associations in Plateau State report at least 50 people killed in renewed attacks across Riyom and Bassa Local Government Areas over the past week, with hundreds displaced.

The coalition of Afizere, Anaguta, Berom, and other youth groups called on the Federal Government to ensure justice for victims and fast-track state police establishment. Spokesperson Barr. Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri urged additional DSS deployment, noting intelligence-driven operations had previously improved security.

The groups condemned conditions for internally displaced persons and demanded prosecution of attack perpetrators.
