APC Tells Adeleke to Stop Blaming Tinubu, Oyetola for Political Woes

OSOGBO — The Osun State APC has urged Governor Ademola Adeleke to stop blaming President Bola Tinubu and former governor Adegboyega Oyetola for his political misfortunes ahead of the governorship election.

APC spokesperson Kola Olabisi, in a statement on Tuesday, said Adeleke’s allegations at a campaign rally were “misplaced and frivolous” and amounted to justifying his imminent defeat.

Olabisi accused Adeleke of fuelling political violence in the state, turning the Government House into a refuge for hoodlums and granting amnesty to jailed thugs.

He said Adeleke’s endorsement of Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election was not forced on him and would not shield him from a free and fair contest in the August 15 governorship election.

“Why the worry if it is true that Governor Adeleke has done well for his state?” Olabisi asked, adding that the election would measure his performance claims.
